Mission Lake Designs was formed in 2007 when Carole Corder decided to make her patterns available. She brings over 40 years of experience and a passion for quilting to the industry. She attributes her love of quilting to the fact that she is a fourth generation quilter. Her great grandmother taught her crochet and embroidery, while her grandmother and mother taught her quilting.

Her quilts have won awards and recognition in Texas, Oklahoma, and Washington. They have also been displayed in International Quilt Shows.

She first began teaching quilting in New Braunfels, Texas in 1978, and continued in Oklahoma, Washington, and Oregon. She specializes in hand appliqué, hand piecing, and hand quilting. However, her patterns lend themselves to all types of quilting. Her variations on these themes yield a broad spectrum of available classes.

Carole is also the mother of four, grandmother of nine, and a friend to many.
